BMX SOUTH QLD - Southern Zone Qld. consists of the following Clubs:
ASHMORE, BAYSIDE, BEENLEIGH, CABOOLTURE,CENTENARY PLAINS, COOLOOLA, IPSWICH, LOGAN CITY, NERANG, PINE RIVERS, REDLANDS, SUNCOAST HINTERLAND, SUNSHINE COAST, TOOWOOMBA. There are Four Zones in Qld., Far North, Northern, Central, & Southern Zone (us).
Southern Zone represent approximately 50% of the riders in Queensland, & approximately 20% of the riders in BMX Australia.
Southern Zone is best know for it's Famous "SHOOT-OUT" Series. Six separate events hosted by various clubs within the zone each year, throughout January to March. The Sixth and final event culminates with presentations to riders based upon points scored during the series. The emphasis for the Shoot-Out series is based on Participation, with all riders who complete 5 of the 6 events receiving a special Plaque.
A Fantastic series to be a part of, with a large number of Riders turning out for some of the best BMX action in the country.
